Mylene Evangelista
Pastors Jocel and Mylene have been walking out the call of God in their lives for more than 20 years. They started out faithfully serving as worship leader and selling resources on Sunday services, before becoming lead pastors of New Life the Fort for 10 years. After that, they served under Pastor Paul and Sister Shoddy Chase in New Life Main starting in 2016, before being installed as Lead Pastors in 2020. Pastor Jocel’s gift in creating an atmosphere of worship and Pastor Mylene’s ability to communicate the Gospel simply and clearly have been an incredible blessing to the Body of Christ, both locally and globally in various conferences and events.
As Lead Pastors of New Life Main, Pastors Jocel and Mylene have a heart to touch people and change lives through the empowering message of the Gospel of Christ.
They are passionate about bringing people to the revelation of God’s love expressed through Jesus’ finished work on the cross. Their desire to see the name of Jesus lifted up has led them to start Jesus Festival in 2012.
This annual event which has featured both local and international speakers has since then grown exponentially, bearing precious fruit through the lives that have been changed because of it.
Pastors Jocel and Mylene have two wonderful children, Kevin and
Kyla, and a little fluff ball of a dog named Winter. They currently
reside in Manila, Philippines.
